Taxonomic Comments
Flora of North America's (2005) Rumex lapponicus includes Kartesz's (1999) R. acetosa ssp. alpestris, R, acetosa ssp. arifolius, and R. acetosa ssp. lapponicus. R. acetosa ssp. thyrsiflorus (= R. thyrsiflorus) and R. acetosa ssp. pseudoxyria (= R. pseudoxyria) are elevated to full species.
